How Close Already Opened IRCC Account?

IRCC is the department of the Canadian government responsible for managing immigration, refugee, and citizenship matters. IRCC oversees various programs and services related to immigration, including processing visa applications, permits, and citizenship applications. In order to check your immigration status, you need to have an IRCC account. An IRCC account, also known as a “MyCIC account,” is an online portal provided by the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada department. It allows individuals to access and manage their immigration applications, submit forms and documents, check application status, communicate with IRCC, and update personal information. The account is created by individuals who apply for visas, permits, or citizenship through IRCC’s online application system.

If you wish to deactivate your IRCC account or no longer use it, you can simply stop accessing it. However, it’s important to note that personal information you provided during the application process may be stored in accordance with privacy and data retention policies.
